Welcome to Reception!

Hello Reception 


I hope you've all had a great half term. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the children tomorrow morning and starting our new topic, 'Leaving on a jet plane'. Our new Topic is all about journeys, transport, holiday destinations and finally thinking about the children's transition from Reception to Year One. During this half term we will continue with our phonics work, in mathematics we will be adding and subtracting using money and in Literacy we will be starting by reading What the Ladybird Heard at the Seaside.
 

PE is on a Tuesday: please come to school dressed ready in PE kits. 

Forest school is on a Wednesday afternoon.  Please send children in their Forest School clothes with trainers or shoes with wellingtons in a bag to get changed in to.  

 

We hope you are all well and excited as we are to return to school.
